Abba's Farm offers Christian pastoral counseling and inner healing prayer ministry and is located in Grand Haven, Michigan, serving individuals throughout West Michigan and the Grand Rapids area. This ministry provides a safe and prayerful environment where people can experience spiritual and emotional healing through compassionate pastoral care and prayer.

Inner Healing is to change from the inside out. The butterfly begins its life as a crawling caterpillar. At some point it finds a safe place, where it weaves itself into a cocoon. In this place of safety the caterpillar’s old form dies, liquefies. Everything it once was dies—the same chemical substance exists, but not in the same form. The creature that breaks forth bears no resemblance to what it once was. The liquid mess it once was has been transformed into a beautiful butterfly. It no longer crawls, but flies! This is the awesome miracle that occurs when we are transformed and healed through Jesus Christ.
A Time of Healing
Recognizing that the healing process is different for everyone, we have established A Time of Healing to provide a unique opportunity for 15 consecutive hours (2 to 3 days, as scheduled) of intensive prayer counseling to come away to a quiet, safe place to receive healing and restoration. In traditional prayer counseling ministry, a prayer minister meets with a client weekly in the office for one hour or less for several months or years. Between sessions, there are the everyday distractions of life: job stress, and relational conflicts. Many times, the client often only has time to go over the struggles from the past week and then the prayer ministry session is over. The Time of Healing offers specialized prayer counseling ministry at a peaceful, remote location which eliminates the distractions, stresses, and the noise of everyday life. This setting lends itself to a flow of peace and provides the perfect atmosphere for God to perform a miraculous healing in the lives of hurting individuals. Time is allowed for individual prayer, study, rest and reflection, which is beneficial to one’s healing. A wonderful opportunity is offered to explore a deepening relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Review of videos and books may be assigned for individualized learning. We find that this approach catapults the clients to a new level in their relationship with the Lord and in their healing.
Each day of healing will include prayer ministry. After the intensive ministry experience, the client(s) will have an opportunity to apply the Scriptural truths learned to life situations: memories, issues, and relationships. Come expecting to see God do great things which are far beyond what you have experienced before. We encourage you to invest in something that will change your life. Many clients have said, "I will never be the same again, ever!"
Life History Information
In order to save time in sessions and accomplish more, Vertical Healing Center requires that each client complete a Life History Form prior to the start of counseling. The Life History Form includes an in-depth history of one’s family background. It would be helpful to have all forms filled out before your session begins. It helps us to know more about you and your situation prior to your scheduled appointment. A Life History Form is available on the Life History Information page. All information will be kept confidential.

About Confidentiality
Effective counseling requires an atmosphere of trust. Everything you discuss with your prayer counselor will be kept confidential. Even the fact that you have come for prayer counseling will not be divulged to anyone without your permission. Your counselor will keep records in accordance with professional legal and ethical guidelines, but no one will have access to the records unless you release them in writing. Your counselor will have to disclose information if you are in danger of hurting yourself or another person. Even in these cases you will be informed, and no more information than necessary would be released.
Pricing Information
The cost for the 10-15 consecutive hours (2 to 3 days, as scheduled) of healing is:
A deposit of $300.00 per person is required once the date for attending A Time of Healing is confirmed. A cancellation or change of scheduling with less than two weeks notice before your scheduled start date to attend will forfeit the deposit.
You are responsible to arrange for your own accommodations while attending the Time of Healing. A list of hotels in the area is available upon request.
